Public Sale Registration Transaction (Auctioning)
Required Documents:
- Original document.
- Auction establishment judgment and a court execution letter indicating the clearance of the property from any encumbrances, restrictions, or registration marks if imposed on the property.
- Copy of passport or ID card for citizens of GCC countries and passport for non-GCC citizens, provided they are valid.
Transaction Fees:
- Fees amounting to 2% of the property value.
- A fee of one dinar for each transaction registration form.
Registration Obstacles:
- A reservation letter on the property from courts under the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs preventing property transactions (registration mark), which is noted in the records of the Survey and Land Registration Authority.
- Registration entry regarding a lawsuit related to proprietary rights on the property.
- A decision from the Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs, and Urban Planning prior to registration regarding property ownership.
- A bank letter of approval in case of a mortgage.
- Submission of the authenticated contract one year after its authentication.
