The value of real estate transactions boomed in the Kingdom in 2008
The Acting Head of Public Relations and Media Section declared that the value of real estate transactions in the Kingdom for the year (2008) amounted to BD537,127,488 in the first quarter, BD549,496,363 in the second quarter and BD355,177,443 in the third quarter; with an increase of BD 1,441,801,294 compared to 2007.
The value of real estate transactions in 2007 reached BD236,613,070 in the first quarter, BD345,889,476 in the second quarter, and BD330,414,243 in the third quarter totaling to BD912,916,789 in 2007.
In contrast, the percentage between 2007 and 2008 indicates an increase of 58% which is attributed to the current growth and economic development witnessed in Bahrain and to the rapid developmental and investment projects under the wise leadership of His Royal Highness King Hamad Bin Isa AL Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, May Allah blessed and protect him. This has positively yielded in raising the volume of property trading in the Kingdom.
