Volume of Real Estate Trading in the First Half of 2015
The Public Relations and Media Department at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) announced that trading in real estate in the first half of this year amounted to BD 687,286,050 (Bahrain Dinars six hundred eighty seven million, two hundred eighty six thousand and fifty), which represents a fall of about - 5% down from last year. However, real estate trading is expected to resume its normal level of activity after the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the summer vacation season.
The following table shows the value of real estate transactions transacted by Bahrainis, GCC nationals and foreigners during the period from January to June 2015 compared to the same period of 2014:
