It gives me great pleasure to inaugurate Survey and Land Registration Bureau's Website. The Bureau has made an important step towards making information easily accessible for citizens and investors. At the same time it is considered as an adequate channel to receive the latest technological developments in this important field.

It is a good way to receive comments from the citizens and all dealers in real estate about the services offered to them by the bureau. This reflects the developments that our beloved Kingdom of Bahrain is witnessing. The Survey and Land Registration Bureau is responsible for land registration and is the guardian of land proprietorship.

It safeguards the properties from being misused or mishandled. It has taken into consideration to make information easily accessible through the website in order to view the procedures, laws governing land registry, fees and required documents to finish any transaction. We look forward to adding more services, where citizens and investors can inquire about their jobs online and gain access to more information in light of the bureau's information technology strategy which is part of the Bahrain Electronic Government Strategy.

 

The idea of creating the bureau's website came after a careful and planned study of the needs for building a modern country in  the glorious age of his majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa. We are entering a new era where information and communication technology is quickly developing all the time and with it - the way we live and communicate.  We cannot just stand still watching the world develop  around us without being part of that development. We have made our plan to be a part of this world and to be a part of building a bright future, the future of science and technology.
