The SLRB performs various types of surveys, however, it also commissions private survey offices to survey specific types of lands via limited contracting. Private property (Cadastral) surveying is completely handed over to private surveyors.

Opening a file for a registration application, reviewing documents, and collecting fees lasts between 35 & 45 minutes. Issuing an ownership deed requires no more than 1 week in most cases.

According to Article 51 of the Land Registration Law, no replacement is issued without a court order.
